17th July 2010 – Salsa for Charity - All dayer in aid of Macmillian Cancer Support.

Why
Salsa for Charity has been set up to promote and hold Salsa and other Latin events with the aim of raising funds for charity.

What
The idea is to use a great hobby and pastime to help generate some funds for charities and causes that need support and recognition whilst having fun in the process. I work to bring together the local teachers and put on a day of dance. Everyone donates their time and energy for the day to give a bit back and do some good.

The first event was held in 2007 after I lost my dad to cancer. The main charity I support is Macmillian Cancer Support.
So a day of doing what you like doing whilst knowing that you are also contributing to the 'giving something back' to society as well.

Join us for our next cracking night of Salsa, Bachata and other Latin sounds.

8.30pm – 9.15pm - Fun Improvers Bachata with Jools and Aaron
8.30pm – 9.15pm - Beginners Bachata Class with Lee Swift

9.15pm - 1am – nearly 4 hours of cracking Salsa and Bachata and other Latin tunes for you to dance the night away provided by special guest Tim Heasman and Jools.

With the 'other' room will open should it get busy!!
